I'm in the mood to do a little bragging. My husband gave me diamonds for Christmas this year. The fact that the diamonds are embedded in the business end of a Dremel drill cutting wheel does not diminish this gift of precious gems in any way.
Tonight I put this little gadget to work. I was able to turn a walnut into cute little baskets, see?
In other crafty news, the Elizabeth Zimmerman February Baby Sweater is coming along nicely...
I love this soft blue-green. I am contemplating painting a room this color.
Weather-related news: We have buildings in our backyard upon which my husband installed metal roofing material this summer. This is how they look as it thaws and freezes:
Isn't it odd? It has looked like this all day. It makes the observer wonder whether a hapless pedestrian would join the Marie Antoinette club if caught standing under these icy blades.
Nothing says, "I love you" like tools.

This household is mighty pleased that you got diamonds for Christmas! Grammie (Phyllis) brought a lovely little walnut basket the last time she came to visit. We (and all the little figures who can now carry their wares more easily) love it! Thank you!
