I love yoga. I've been doing it seriously for the past three years or so. I enjoy it because of the combination of balance and strength it promotes. It really helps with flexibility, too. All the things I need to preserve as I enter my dotage. Just recently, my health club canceled the group yoga class that I've attended for years. I'm taking it as a sign that it's time to shift gears and practice by myself using taped instructions or books.
I've been "dabbling" in yoga for a few months now, and am amazed at how I feel afterwards. Energized, yet calm. I hope I can stick with it for 3 years!

Thanks for the comment on my blog! We seem to have a lot in common, I have done yoga for about 4 years now and love it. My gym offers two types, a power-type with weights optional and a relaxing asana type flow yoga. I have usually done the flow type but recently picked up the weights for the power yoga and have been enjoying it. I have thought about downloading some of the podcasts available online for when I am not able to get to the gym (or too lazy to drive there) but haven't yet so I'll be interested to see what kind of instructions you find! I've added you to my bloglines. : )
