It's been too long since I posted... Things have been uneventful, and for that,I am grateful.
What's been happening:
I am watching my favorite-babies-in-the-world two or three days a week and I am loving it.
I bought myself a netbook. The jury's out as far as whether I like it or not. It's kind of slow on the draw, and that gets old fast..
My son is back from an extended trip to the western US. I am thrilled to have himhome again.
I met my nine-month-old niece for the very first time yesterday. She is a doll.
In crafty news... I have spun a nice amount of blue-faced leicester; enough to make some lovely soft mittens. I was cleaning and came across some yak down I had forgotten all about. That will be my next spinning project.\
Tonight I'll sit in my backyard. I can usually see at least three different fireworks displays at the same time. I like them, but Little Frida the dog hates them. She just trembles pathetically. I will put her in a back bedroom with an air purifier on full blast to help drown out the objectional noise.
Hope everyone has a pleasant 4th of July!
The Purl Bee Blog talks about yak today. Check it out.
